30-Day Writing challenge: Day 4

30-Day Writing challenge: Day 4

Day 4: Places you want to visit.

Firstly, the header image has nothing to do with today’s challenge but is because of something that happened this morning. Ghost got out again during the night. After I woke up and was in the living room, I heard a strange sound out on the street and when I looked out I saw Ghost out by the front gate. So I went out but by the time I had rugged up, put my shoes on and ventured out into the grey misty morning, he had gone.  I went out through the gate anyway, and looked up the street towards the hill, and then I heard a thundering behind me. Looked behind and there was Ghost galloping towards me through the mist. He looked like the silver brumby, so beautiful. Anyway, he happily trotted back inside my property.

So…today’s challenge is an easy one.  I want to go to the Northern Territory and the north west of Australia. I’d also like to go to Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay in Tasmania even though I’m not an ocean or beach sort of person.

Generally, my idea of bliss right now is to ‘visit’ all of Australia — or as much of it as possible — by road in a caravan or camper or van. I have no desire to go overseas again. Why would anyone want to be anywhere else other than Australia? Beats me.
